1 Corinthians 7:10-11

10. To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 

11. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.

10. अब जो विवाहित हैं उनको मेरा यह आदेश है, (यद्यपि यह मेरा नहीं है, बल्कि प्रभु का आदेश है) कि किसी पत्नी को अपना पति नहीं त्यागना चाहिये।

11. किन्तु यदि वह उसे छोड़ ही दे तो उसे फिर अनब्याहा ही रहना चाहिये या अपने पति से मेल-मिलाप कर लेना चाहिये। और ऐसे ही पति को भी अपनी पत्नी को छोड़ना नहीं चाहिये।
